When the Moon Rises
There’s a moment just after daylight disappears when the sky goes quiet and the creatures of the night begin to stir. Against a palette of midnight black and blood-red crystal, tiny flashes of moon-gold appear along the chain — echoed in the eerie golden eyes of a magnificent black bat spreading its wings at the collarbone. Vampire Bat Moonrise was made for that moment: dark, glittering and just a little dangerous.
Creature of the Night
At its center, an extraordinary dimensional bat stretches from wingtip to wingtip, finished in glossy midnight black with antiqued silver detailing, tiny crimson stones and those wonderfully watchful golden eyes. Connected beadwork travels upward in black, deep red, silver and warm moonlit gold, transforming the necklace into more than a pendant: the entire piece becomes a carefully composed little nocturnal scene, with the bat seemingly caught in flight beneath a rising moon.

Linked Beadwork, Built One Piece at a Time
Vampire Bat Moonrise isn’t traditionally strung beadwork. Instead, its necklace is constructed from individual beaded components, each assembled separately and then joined by hand with metal links to create the finished chain.
Black, crimson, moon-gold and pearl-like beads are arranged into small clustered compositions along the necklace, with each section requiring its own assembly and connection before becoming part of the larger design. The technique gives the necklace a more dimensional, jewelry-like structure than beads simply strung along a continuous cord — and allows those little flashes of color and metal to appear almost like charms traveling toward the central bat.
At the collarbone, the linked beadwork meets the dramatic winged bat focal, bringing all those individually constructed pieces together into one wonderfully elaborate creature-of-the-night necklace.

One Size Fits Most
Vampire Bat Moonrise measures approximately 18 inches, designed to settle beautifully at the collarbone with the winged bat at center.
An adjustable extension chain provides additional length, allowing the necklace to sit higher or lower to complement different wearers, costumes and necklines.

Care
Treat your little creature of the night gently. Store the necklace flat or loosely coiled to protect its individually linked beadwork and prevent tangling. Avoid pulling or twisting the connected sections, and keep away from water, perfumes and harsh cleaners. If needed, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Vampire Bat Moonrise is handmade to order and typically ships within 3–7 days once your order is finalized. During peak Halloween season, production times may extend as our studio fills for October — ordering early is always encouraged.
