• Fabric & Structure – Hat body is built from fully-interfaced black satin with a lined crown (lime “Oz” taffeta or tone-on-tone satin, depending on colorway). The mini brim and tall cone are both stabilized so they keep their sculpted shape instead of collapsing like costume-store felt.
• Veil & Feathers – Back veil combines soft black tulle and sheer organza “scarves,” each narrow-hemmed so they naturally spiral and corkscrew for movement without fraying. Feather plumes are wired and hand-anchored into the crown for stability.
• Trim & Medallion – Hat band is finished with high-sheen satin ribbon; Oz version includes a glitter-glass OZ medallion hand-set with coordinating gems to echo the Emerald City glow.
• Fastening & Fit – Worn as a fascinator, not a floppy hat: hidden snap combs plus ribbon loops under the brim let you pin or clip it into any hairstyle (front tilt, side perch, or high updo).
